This was a Doug Kalitta engine that had been freshened at Klein Racing Engines in Arizona


This engine - after being purchased and refreshed - has had only about an hour of use before the racing program disbanded.


There is one plug that has a helicoil. 


In the short time with this engine I never had a problem with this plug. 


The heads on the motor are Brodix -11 but were reworked at the Kalitta shop. 


I have been told that he set a track record at one of the asphalt USAC tracks with this motor. 

 
This racing engine has been sitting quite a while so it is recommended that the new owner should probably pop the pan, check and grease the bearings, etc.
