This 1985 C4 Trans AM Racing Corvette - HAS BEEN SOLD !
Features a highly modified & reinforced C3 chassis (1968) with NASCAR style door bars and a modified C4 body (1985). Both front and rear suspensions have been much modified, the car still retains the independent rear suspension. Has a Corvette rear end, with oil cooler & pump, currently running a 4.11 gear ratio with posi-traction. Features coil over shocks. The shocks are QA-1’s all-around. Woodward race power rack & pinion steering. The car last raced in July 2013, the car has been stored since in our heated shop. The chassis/car has been certified for the 2015 season by CASC-OR Scrutineer. A test day is planned for this year.
BRAKES & WHEELS
Front brakes are Wilwood 6 piston calipers, with 12” rotors. Wheels 12.5” W X R16”, Tires currently: Goodyear Eagle, Sports Car Special, 25” X 13” X R16”
Tilton high mounted dual master cylinders with adjustable brake bias & clutch cylinder all with remote reservoirs
Rear brakes are Wilwood 4 piston calipers, with 11” rotors. Wheels 13.5”W X R16”, Tires currently: Goodyear Eagle, Sports Car Special, 27” X 14” X R16”
The car comes with 2 sets of wheels & tires (bias ply slicks)
Features a NASCAR Chevrolet small block, 358 CI, 18 deg heads, roller cam & rockers, 12.5 CR, with Dry Sump lubrication system, Dynoed at 725 HP, built in 2012, by BEATTY & WOODS, Mississauga, ON. Ignition MSD al2 system (with rev limiter – set for 7600rpm). Car runs on C12 race gas (110 octane leaded). Limited running, only 3 race days since build.
