This complete old school buggy would be a lot of fun to refresh and run.

This Aircooled VW Class Chenowth buggy was raced in the 1990s and again in 2001 in the Best In The Desert Off Road Racing Series - BITD

As a matter of fact the BITD chassis tag is still present and is in good shape for this Aircooled VW Classic

To race again - this Vintage 2 Seater Chenowth Buggy will need a reprep, seat belts, window nets, and a new fuel bag

It includes:

A Volkswagen 1600cc Type 1 engine
- with a Solex Carburetor and UMP airbox

Type 1 swing axle

SACO Performance Steering Rack

Bilstein Shock Absorbers

It even has a working vintage radio - intercom and helmet pumper

Includes 4 spare wheels and tires

I originally bought this to run NORRA - the National Off Road Racing Association - but other racing and shop projects from our racing preparation business took priority.
